Catalano Interiors has a full in-house professional delivery and installation service available to our customers who have chosen to have their furniture delivered.

Catalano Interiors offers Small-item Delivery where you can have your furniture delivered and placed at your front door, alternatively you can use our Room Of Choice Delivery and have your furniture delivered, assembled and installed to the room of choice. 
Our customer service team will give you an estimated delivery date, however, due to unforeseen circumstances these dates are only an estimate and are subject to change. Please note that every attempt will be made to minimise any delays, as we are just as excited about you receiving your new furniture!

Once the goods are ready for delivery you will be contacted by our delivery department to schedule a delivery date. Three days prior you will be contacted again via SMS to confirm the delivery date. We ask that you reply YES and your surname to confirm the delivery, if any of the details are incorrect or you would like to reschedule your delivery please call 1300 CATALANO (1300 228 252). Should details change prior to delivery it is up to you to advise us. It is imperative that we have accurate and up to date delivery information including an email address and business hours contact. In the event that nobody can be home to receive your delivery or delivery is cancelled on the day of the delivery, a redelivery charge of $110.00 (Melbourne Metro only) will apply.

The day prior you will receive another SMS and advised of an approximate 3-hour window of when your delivery will arrive. We will always attempt to arrive within this window, but this cannot be guaranteed as other deliveries on the day can take longer than anticipated and traffic conditions also can affect these timeframes.

Our delivery and installation team members require your room/s to be ready and clear with sufficient access for delivery of your furniture. It is your responsibility to forewarn us of any challenges such as narrow stairs, steep driveways, elevators or partly built homes. Further to this, we ask you to protect your floors, remove objects that may be in our way that could suffer damage. Please note we are unable to move existing furniture.

Our staff will always extend every professional courtesy, care and assistance when placing your furniture where required.

When receiving your furniture, please inspect your products thoroughly before signing “received in good order and condition.” Any claims for marks, scratches, dents or any other damages will not be accepted once signed.


Global Shipping Delays

There are currently a number of factors impacting retail supply chains in Australia. Global shipping closures and bottlenecks, the ongoing impacts of COVID-19, and the resulting congestion at Catalano’s local Distribution Centres are unfortunately all causing ongoing delays in the processing and delivery of customer orders. These issues are industry wide and are affecting all retailers.
 
Despite being a large importer, which means we have the scale and connections to receive preferential shipping over most retailers, some of our shipments have been held up both at local and international ports for considerable periods at a time due to circumstances beyond our control.

Existing Orders
Currently, we are anticipating additional delivery delays on some existing orders. The situation is volatile, so all delivery dates provided are still best estimates due to issues beyond our control.

We are constantly reviewing lead times to ensure they are as accurate as possible when you make your purchase. The global situation however is volatile, so further delays against published lead times cannot be ruled out.

Please be assured that we continue to do all we can to minimise delays and ensure your orders are being delivered as soon as possible, including:
- Paying extra (when possible) for priority containers
- Opening additional delivery routes
- Hiring extra warehouse staff to clear backlogs from our Distribution Centres

Warehouse Pick-up: Free

WAREHOUSE ADDRESS: 160 Fulham Road, Alphington VIC 3078

Warehouse pickup is available Monday to Friday 10am – 12.30pm and 1.30pm – 3pm.

If you choose this option, you will need to pre-book a time prior to pickup. No pick up can occur unless it has been booked with the store of purchase, if purchased online our team will contact you to organise a collection time.

Please make sure you have ropes, blankets and wrapping materials to protect and secure your goods in order to transport them safely. 

OH&S prohibits CATALANO INTERIORS staff from lifting furniture outside our warehouse or stores. Make sure you bring appropriate help to load your car or truck as the item may be heavy or oversized.

Customers: Please note that once you have taken ownership of goods, Catalano Interiors will not be liable for any damage caused once the furniture leaves the premises. Please ensure you have inspected your goods prior to pick up.

This is to ensure the product is free of scratches, marks or any other damage. In the event a claim under warranty is required, you must return the product for repair/ inspection to the warehouse at your cost.
