Melbourne's northern suburbs
Furniture Store for Melbourne's Northern Suburbs
North-side shoppers have two Catalano locations close by. Preston, on Murray Road, is the showroom for comparing styles, materials and room layouts in person. A few minutes away on Fulham Road in Alphington, our clearance outlet and head office sells one-off ex-display pieces. If you live in the north-west, Essendon DFO is the nearer stop.
Where to shop in the north
Preston, for the full range
Preston suits customers who want to compare looks, finishes and dimensions before deciding, and the team gives personal advice on what will fit the room. Sofa and lounge shopping is a particular focus here, with the comfort-first approach that makes sitting before buying worth the trip.

The Alphington Clearance Outlet sells ex-display, end-of-range and slightly imperfect pieces, one of each and sold as seen, at reduced prices. It is also our head office and the free warehouse pickup point, so it is a practical stop if you are collecting an order or have a delivery question. Its hours are shorter than the showrooms' and it is closed on Sundays, so check the store card before you go. See what is on the floor on the clearance outlet page.

Lounges and sofas in the north
Most people buying a lounge want to feel the seat depth and cushion before they commit, and Preston is set up for that. The range covers fabric and leather sofas from two seaters to modular, corner and electric recliner designs. Look through recliner lounges, modular lounges and the full sofa and lounge range first. Then phone Preston if there is a model you want waiting, because the floor changes as new ranges arrive.
Furnishing the rest of the home
Preston also carries dining, bedroom and living room furniture, and the team can show you pieces from the wider catalogue that are not on the floor. If you are watching your budget, compare the full-price range at Preston with what is on the Alphington outlet floor that week. Start with dining tables, bedroom furniture or buffets and sideboards.
Delivery across the north
Delivery covers Melbourne metro, including the northern suburbs, and stock held in our warehouse dispatches within 48 hours. Options run from front-door drop-off for small items to room-of-choice delivery with assembly, and an SMS tells you your delivery window. Collecting from Alphington instead is free. Full rates are on our delivery page.
